The Himalaya Drug Company, India’s leading Herbal Health and Personal Care Company, in association with Smile Train India, supports the cleft lip initiative – Muskaan. 

As part of the initiative, a contribution of INR 5 from the purchase of every Himalaya Lip Care product is contributed to support cleft surgery. Through this partnership, over 1100+ cleft surgeries have been supported for children with clefts since 2015. In addition to support for surgeries, Muskaan aims to create awareness about cleft treatment with an aim to ensure children in need of cleft surgeries get access to treatment at the earliest, and at a tender age when healing is faster. This has been done by capturing the journey of two patients, Jyothi and Mun Mun. The media launch of these videos has helped in creating high awareness for clefts.
