Kevin Haokip brings a wealth of experience in the development sector, boasting a 4-year background that includes roles with prominent organizations such as Plan International, CASA, and the National Health Authority. During his tenure with CASA, Kevin played a pivotal role in the USAID MRITE Project, focusing on elevating vaccination coverage and dispelling myths and taboos associated with Covid-19 vaccination. His contributions extended to Plan International's India Chapter spearheaded the implementation of the Durex, The Birds & Bees Talk Project.
In his previous position, Kevin served as a coordinator for northeastern states, overseeing the implementation of India's flagship public health insurance scheme, "Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana." His efforts were widely acknowledged for effective stakeholder management, coordination, project management, and government liaisoning. Kevin recently joined Smile Train in February 2024, where his commitment lies in fortifying the organization's Programs Team, dedicated to sponsoring quality cleft care services.
